The Startup SaaS Platform team works with European startups in one of Stripe’s highest-priority segments. At Stripe, SaaS platforms are companies that use Stripe to embed payments and make financial services a core part of their product. Their partnership with Stripe is an important part of their growth, such as with companies like Shopify, Mindbody, and Lightspeed.
SaaS platforms are a global priority for Stripe, and our team identifies and develops Stripe’s future strategic accounts in Europe. We partner with high-potential companies, helping them use Stripe’s solutions to better support their users, scale internationally, and create new revenue streams through payments and financial services.
As an Account Executive, Existing Business, you will build partnerships between Stripe and innovative, fast-growing software platforms by helping them understand how Stripe’s online commerce infrastructure can support their business goals and create value for their customers.
You are a skilled salesperson and relationship manager who can engage confidently in business and technical conversations at multiple levels of an organization, including the CTO, COO, and CFO. You have experience working with startups and understand the buyer journey. You can lead a complex, multi-party sale in a consultative and thoughtful way.
You are comfortable building value in competitive situations and enjoy working on products that require both technical understanding and strong commercial judgment. You are analytical, curious, and enjoy understanding business models and helping customers evaluate investment decisions.
You are proactive about prospecting and can independently lead a sales cycle from start to finish. You also enjoy building, whether that means contributing to sales process development, sharpening the value proposition, or creating tools and assets that help the team succeed.
