You'll take on a highly influential role shaping vision and execution across key strategic initiatives. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders, contribute to high-impact decisions, guide complex projects from concept to completion, and mentor others on the team. This is a role for someone who leverages modern tools and cutting-edge methodologies as a core part of how they solve problems, and raises the bar for everyone around them.
This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA, with in-person attendance expected at least three days per week.

Build, test, and release product-facing and platform features with stringent correctness and scalability requirements. These features will be related to market data, trading, accounting, authentication, or security. Design and write software, software test suites APIs using REST and messaging middleware. Utilize languages and frameworks such as Go and Python on a day-to-day basis to drive solutions development. Write database queries and code to store data in databases that store the information needed to facilitate the complex and technical processes involved in the highly advanced financial services Robinhood offers. Design solutions to fix scalability problems and then implement them. Test software systems for scalability and performance problems to identify specific causes, as well as analyze software systems to identify potential changes to improve scalability and performance. Work with our trading partners to integrate with their systems to provide Robinhood customers access to markets across the asset classes we support. Collaborate with our operations, execution, risk and data partners to deliver robust and reliable solutions to clients. Build, test, and release operational-facing features with stringent correctness and compliance requirements. These features will be related to clearing, settlement, corporate action processing, margin calculation, accounting, or risk. Telecommuting permitted.
In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to the corresponding compensation zone.
Base Pay Range:
$161,637 - $195,000 per year
