The Role

In this role at Daylight, you’ll play a critical role in executing our Virtual Power Plant (VPP) and demand response program participation across the country. You’ll develop strategies to drive revenue growth, optimize asset performance, and collaborate with the development team to build an internal platform that integrates revenue stacking, analytics, and operational efficiencies.

We're an early-stage startup, so this role goes beyond traditional asset optimization. You’ll support functions related to energy trading, pricing strategies, and risk management while ensuring compliance with program requirements and internal risk metrics. You’ll also develop partnerships and build operational capabilities to enhance commercial performance.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about energy markets and technology who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll shape our analytics platform, integrate key data sources, and develop risk management frameworks—all while having opportunities to grow into a leadership position as we scale.

This role is remote with the New York City metro area preferred. Travel to New York City is required for meetings and team building events.
