Backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, we’re building the “World’s Online Main Street”—bringing authentic personal connections and the excitement of discovering one-of-a-kind products to online commerce.

On top of our strong US community, we’re expanding into Mexico and looking for ambitious, sales-driven talent to help build our local seller community.

The Opportunity:

Palmstreet is looking for a Business Development Representative based in Mexico to identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential sellers onto our platform.

This is a hands-on sales role. You will connect with prospective sellers through digital channels, understand their businesses, communicate the value of selling on Palmstreet, guide qualified sellers through the onboarding process, and keep supporting their growth on Palmstreet.

All seller acquisition and relationship-building will take place online, and the position is fully remote. This is a high-intensity role that requires flexibility, including frequent evening and weekend work, to connect with sellers when they are most available.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research high-potential sellers, creators, shops, and communities across Mexico.

  • Build a strong pipeline of seller leads and consistently meet outreach, onboarding, and activation targets.

  • Persuade qualified sellers to join the platform and guide them through the onboarding process.

  • Build long-term relationships with sellers and support their early success on Palmstreet.

  • Gather seller feedback and market insights to help improve our product and go-to-market strategy in Mexico.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and customer support.

  • Work flexible hours, including frequent evenings and weekends, based on seller availability and business needs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Based in Mexico with authorization to work locally.

  • 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related role.

  • Strong sales ability, including prospecting, relationship-building, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.

  • Professional working proficiency in English; native Spanish speaker.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment with frequent evening and weekend work.

  • Fluent with latest AI tools.

  • Experience working with sellers, creators, small businesses, or online communities is preferred.

  • Interest in collectibles or trading cards is a plus.

Your Location: Mexico

Compensation

  • Base hourly compensation: $8–$10 USD per hour.

  • This role is eligible for performance-based commission tied to seller acquisition and activation results.

  • Specific commission structure and targets will be discussed during the interview process.

  • Working hours will vary and will include frequent evenings and weekends.

Why Join Us?

  • Play a key role in launching and growing Palmstreet’s community in Mexico.

  • Join a fast-paced startup where ownership, initiative, and results are recognized.

  • Work remotely while connecting with entrepreneurs, creators, and sellers across Mexico.
