Operating as a senior individual contributor and subject-matter expert with minimal direction, this role ensures accurate delivery, statutory compliance, vendor accountability, and a consistent global employee experience. The role addresses complex, cross-border benefits matters in close partnership with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Legal. Key responsibilities Administer health, welfare, retirement/pension, income protection, wellness, and supplemental benefit programs across 11 countries, ensuring accurate and timely delivery. Serve as subject-matter expert on statutory and supplemental benefits requirements in each country; monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance with local laws, filings, and reporting obligations. Lead annual open enrollment and renewal cycles for each country, coordinating timelines, plan changes, system configuration, and employee communications. Manage relationships with global and local brokers, insurers, third-party administrators, and pension providers; hold vendors accountable to service levels and support renewal negotiations and benchmarking. Maintain accurate benefits data in the HRIS/benefits platform; audit records to ensure data integrity and payroll accuracy, and reconcile vendor invoices. Analyze benefits costs, utilization, and market trends; support annual benefits budgeting and provide reporting and recommendations to leadership. Act as the escalation point for complex employee benefits questions across regions and time zones, delivering clear, culturally appropriate communications and enrollment materials. Design and implement benefits programs for new-country entries, expansions, and M&A integration; lead process-improvement, harmonization, and automation initiatives, and provide guidance to less-experienced team members. Qualifications  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. +6 years proven experience in benefits administration, including significant international / multi-country experience. In-depth understanding of statutory and supplemental benefits across multiple regions (North America, EMEA, and/or APAC); LatAm focus is a plus. Proven experience managing brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators across borders. Hands-on experience with an HRIS/benefits system (e.g., Rippling, Workday) and benefits administration platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with impeccable attention to detail. Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines across time zones. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Fluent English language proficiency is required; additional languages relevant to the covered regions are a plus.
