IT LICENSING TECHNICIAN

The IT Licensing Technician keeps the licensing engine running by owning the high-volume day-to-day activities. In this role, you'll handle request intake/fulfillment, inventory tracking, basic VAR coordination, and off-the-shelf software support. This high-ownership role ensures engineers receive tools quickly during critical campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process high-volume license and user requests with speed and accuracy.
  • Manage inventory, track counts, and flag issues early.
  • Handle one-off/off-the-shelf software procurement, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Partner with VARs for basic allocations and operational support.
  • Generate simple usage reports and maintain records.
  • Take repetitive toil/churn off Analysts and continuously reduce friction for users.
  • Coordinate with IT Services for seamless delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in IT support, licensing operations, or asset tracking.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT discipline.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to handle high request volume in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, basic tracking tools, and attention to detail.
  • Solid communication skills with technical teams and vendors.
  • Exposure to software tools in aerospace/engineering environments.
  • Experience in high-growth or high-cadence operations.
  • Familiarity with basic licensing models or inventory systems.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be available for the following shift:
    • Monday to Friday (9:00AM - 5:00PM)
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • This role is an on-site position - remote work or hybrid will not be considered.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, and/or weekends as needed.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range:
Level 1: $23.00 - $27.00
Level 2: $26.00 - $32.50
Level 3: $31.00 - $38.00

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
