The Team
As part of the Engineering organization, Fuels & Materials develops and qualifies the advanced materials and fuel technologies that form the foundation of Valar's reactor systems. The team ensures performance, reliability, and long-term durability under demanding operating conditions.
The Role
The Material Control and Accounting (MC&A) Specialist leads the nuclear material safeguards program at Valar Atomics TRISO manufacturing facilities. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate accounting, control, and protection of special nuclear material (SNM) in compliance with Department of Energy (DOE) and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requirements.
