From the original posting
We're looking for a Producer to be the operational backbone of Perplexity's creative team. Our creative output is scaling fast — brand campaigns, GTM launches, shoots, partnerships — and we need someone who can run the production of all of it so our designers, motion designers, and brand leads can stay focused on the creative work.
You'll be the connective tissue between creative vision and real-world execution: coordinating projects across multiple teams, managing vendors and contractors, organizing shoots, and handling the licenses and contracts that keep everything legitimate and on track. You know how to protect creative intent while keeping timelines grounded in reality.
You'll report into the Brand/Creative Studio team and partner daily with Brand, Motion, Web, and our cross-functional partners in Comms, Product Marketing, and Partnerships.
Coordinate creative projects across multiple teams — owning scopes, timelines, budgets, and delivery so nothing falls through the gaps
Be the single point of contact for cross-functional partners (Comms, Product Marketing, Partnerships, Events) so requests are triaged, scoped, and delivered
Source and manage vendors, contractors, freelancers, and external agencies — negotiating, briefing, and keeping relationships strong
Organize and run shoots end-to-end: casting, location scouting, scheduling, crewing, and on-set logistics
Own licenses, contracts, releases, and rights management — keeping the team compliant and unblocked
Build and run a production workflow and intake process that keeps a fast-moving creative team organized without adding bureaucracy
Partner with post-production to make sure final assets are delivered on time and to spec
Protect the team's focus — handle the operational weight so creatives can do their best work
Experience as a producer on an in-house creative or brand team (e.g., Brand Producer / Creative Producer), ideally at a tech or consumer software company
A track record coordinating creative projects across teams and keeping them on time, on budget, and on brand
Hands-on experience managing vendors, contractors, and agencies, including negotiating and managing contracts
Experience organizing shoots — photo and video — and handling the logistics, licensing, and releases that come with them
Strong program and project management instincts; you bring order to a fast, ambiguous environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management — you keep a lot of people aligned without slowing them down
Fluency with creative tools and workflows (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and the production process from concept to delivery
Comfort working alongside strong creative leaders — this role is about enabling great creative work, not directing it
Experience standing up production processes and intake systems from scratch
Background in both brand/campaign production and event or experiential production
A network of trusted vendors, photographers, directors, and production partners
