Order Management Analyst

The primary responsibility is ownership of the close/won process, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with the current compensation plan and methodology. This role will also support deal strategy shaping, SOX remediation, and billing processes.

What You'll Do:

  • Service Order Processing and Deal Tracking:
    • Close/won service orders in CPQ, ensuring accuracy & completion of all required fields and calculation methodology for EAB (estimated annual bookings).
    • Auto-Renewal opportunities: Ownership of all auto-renewals, ensuring that the quote & totals align with the current contract terms.
    • Non-Standard deals: Manual ownership of opportunity level fields and billing completion & assist in automating all non-standard opportunity types.
    • Cut-Off analysis: Analyze contract dates, signature dates, and close/won dates to ensure every contract has correct revenue recognition.
  • Automation Tool Management:
    • Daily testing to ensure that new automation tools and systems are working as intended (Commissionable Events, LogiSense billing)
    • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to automation tools.
  • Billing Error Mitigation
    • Support billing team in analyzing SO’s to ensure billing terms are accurately captured in Netsuite / Logisense.
  • SOX Deficiency Remediation:
    • Ensure that all processes align to the controls and policies for every opportunity & assist with testing.
    • Current controls under Order Management
  • Deal Strategy analysis & setup:
    • Assist Deal Strategy team with quote analysis to evaluate financial impact and strategic alignment of deals & ownership of setup for non-standard opportunities.
  • Process Improvement and Automation:
    • Constantly identify improvements to manual processes by developing automation solutions or enhancing existing systems.

What We're Looking For:

  • BA in Finance / Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years combined order management experience / deal desk / finance experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements

This position is based out of Fastly’s WeWork space in Futura Magarapatta. Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.

This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.
