Quick facts
From the original posting
Housing: We simplify how renters tour apartments, sign leases, submit maintenance requests, and stay connected with their property team—bringing everything they need for their home into one place.
Healthcare: We make it easy to schedule appointments, complete intake forms, and we help patients communicate with providers, so everyone can focus on health instead of paperwork.
About The Role
As a Partner Solutions Engineer at EliseAI, you will sit at the intersection of business and engineering, owning and executing our technical strategic partnerships. This role requires both a commercial and technical mindset: you will manage a live portfolio of concurrent partner integrations—spanning utility billing, collections, water/metering, payments, and other property-tech verticals—and drive each one from scoping through go-live and into stable, long-term operation. You will work closely with both technical and business teams internally and externally to guarantee the long-term success and value of each partnership. This person will split the active partnerships book of work with our other Partner Solutions Engineer, so strong prioritization and ownership across a high volume of simultaneous workstreams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Own a portfolio of concurrent integrations, end to end: At any given time you will be actively driving 10-15+ partner integrations across categories like utility billing, collections, water/metering, payments, and lease guarantee vendors. You will scope requirements, design the integration approach, drive development (internal and/or vendor-side), manage testing, and get each integration live against firm go-live dates—then keep it stable afterward
Be the technical point of contact for partners: You will work directly with vendor engineering and product teams to align on data needs, API usage, and implementation decisions. This includes evaluating what a partner's API can/can't do, deciding when to build vs. use a workaround, and unblocking issues that come up mid-build
Partner with Engineering to shape our API and integration architecture: You will identify gaps in our own API, scope and prioritize the right solutions with the integrations engineering team, and make architecture calls on how data should flow between EliseAI and partner systems
Document and standardize integration patterns: Rather than treating every vendor as a one-off, you will document how existing integrations work and standardize the pattern so new vendors in the same category can be onboarded faster and more consistently
Manage sandbox and test environments: You will create and maintain sandbox orgs and test data for each partner, using and improving our internal test data tools, so integrations can be validated before launch without manual one-off setup
Triage and prioritize a high-volume, deadline-driven workload: With multiple go-lives active at once, you will regularly re-prioritize across projects, flag at-risk timelines early, and escalate blockers to keep launches on track
Continuously improve the ecosystem: Contribute to longer-term initiatives such as partner-facing documentation, the API usage monitor, the partner certification program, and self-service vendor/sandbox tooling

Requirements
3+ years of experience in a technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Partnerships, Integrations, or Backend Engineering
Strong technical foundation, including understanding of system architecture fundamentals and APIs. Comfortable reading and reasoning about code (Python or similar)
Experience working directly with external technical stakeholders (e.g., vendor engineering teams, customer technical teams)
Proven ability to manage a large number of concurrent workstreams with competing deadlines—prioritizing ruthlessly without dropping balls
Ability to think strategically about integrations: assess tradeoffs, prioritize effectively, and make sound technical decisions, including when to push back on a partner vs. build a custom solution
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage timelines, track dependencies, escalate issues when needed, and drive work to completion under hard go-live dates
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across both technical and non-technical teams, and comfort documenting technical workflows clearly for reuse
Nice to have: exposure to proptech, utility billing, collections, or payments/ledger workflows
Why Join
Growth and impact. It’s not often that you can get in on the ground floor of a funded (unicorn!) startup that’s scaling so fast. That means that instead of following a playbook, you’ll be writing it. Every single day you will be challenged to identify how we can scale and execute on it. You’ll learn what works when you succeed and what doesn’t when you fail. Either way, the rest of the team will be here to support you.
