About Radiant

Radiant is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world’s first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed and run for up to 5 years without refueling. Portable nuclear power with rapid-deploy capability can replace similar-sized diesel generators and provide critical asset support for hospitals, data centers, remote sites, and military bases. Radiant’s unique, practical approach to nuclear development leverages modern software engineering to rapidly deliver safe, factory-built microreactors that use existing, well-qualified materials. Founded in 2020, Radiant is on track to test its first reactor at the Idaho National Laboratory this summer, with initial customer deliveries beginning in 2028.

About the Role:

Radiant is seeking a PLM Administrator to own day-to-day Teamcenter and NX administration, reporting to our PLM Architect. Teamcenter expertise is scarce and hard to acquire, and this seat puts you directly under an architect to build it in a hardware-driven organization where the platform decisions carry real weight. You'll manage the complex systems engineering depends on daily, growing into deeper platform ownership of standards, customization, and configuration as you learn the tools that support the design and build of the first mass-produced portable nuclear reactor.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • User and access administration in Teamcenter: accounts, groups, roles, permissions, and organizational structure as the company grows

  • Day-to-day support for engineering users: item and BOM issues, workflow problems, revision and release questions, and data cleanup.

  • Client deployment and upgrades for NX and Teamcenter across engineering workstations: packaging, rollout, patching, and validating an upgrade won't break anything before it reaches everyone

  • License troubleshooting from the user side, coordinating with the systems engineer who owns the license servers themselves

  • Testing and validation: working through upgrades and configuration changes in a test environment before they go live

  • Documentation and training: writing the guides and running the sessions that stop the same question arriving twenty times

  • Vendor coordination: opening and driving support cases and chasing them to resolution

  • Develop and maintain the NX CAD environment: templates, customization files, role-based configurations, Check-Mate rules, and default settings across the organization

  • Configure and maintain standardized part families, drawing templates, and reusable component libraries to enforce design consistency

  • Establish, document, and enforce organization-wide standards for CAD modeling, drafting, and PLM data entry to ensure data consistency and integrity

  • Grow into deeper platform work under the PLM architect as the platform is learned

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a STEM discipline

  • 3+ years in a technical support, systems administration, or engineering support role

  • Exposure to a PLM, PDM, or CAD environment: Teamcenter, Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE, SolidWorks PDM, or comparable. Depth is welcome but not required

  • Comfortable in Windows administration, with enough scripting aptitude to automate the repetitive parts

  • Experience working with engineers, gathering requirements and turning them into actionable steps

  • Organized and dependable with attention to detail

  • Genuine appetite to learn this platform deeply

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hands-on NX experience as a user, designer, or drafter

  • Any Teamcenter administration exposure: BMIDE, workflow design, multi-tier environments

  • A background in design, drafting, or manufacturing moving toward the systems side

  • SQL comfort for reporting and data investigation

  • ITAR, EAR, or 10 CFR 810 controlled environment experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to accomplish our mission.

  • Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ.

Benefits and Perks

  • Stock: Substantial incentive stock plan for all full-time employees.

  • Medical: 100% up to base silver level plan for employee + 50% dependents, offers up to Platinum plans.

  • One Medical: Sponsored memberships for employees and their dependents.

  • Vision: 100% top tier plan coverage + 50% for dependents.

  • Dental: 100% top tier plan coverage, orthodontia extra, 50% for dependents.
