About the role

We are seeking a hands-on, execution-focused Principal AI Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge AI products that serve our Industrial and Public Sector customers. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to bring AI-powered solutions to life. You’ll be the connective tissue between customer needs, technical capabilities, and business goals ensuring we ship the right product, at the right time, with measurable impact.

This is a roll-up-your-sleeves position for a product leader who thrives on shipping high-quality products in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You will focus on driving execution, owning the product lifecycle, and making AI innovation real for our customers.

Location: This role is office-based at our Bellevue, Washington office. 

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Drive Execution: Own the end-to-end delivery of AI products from requirements, Epics and user stories to development, QA, and launch in close collaboration with engineering and design teams.
  • Product Delivery: Translate high-level product strategy into detailed, actionable product plans. Define and refine product requirements, user flows, and acceptance criteria for AI features and tools.
  • Customer Engagement: Partner with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to validate product decisions, gather feedback, and iterate based on real-world usage.
  • Roadmap Input: Contribute to and maintain a tactical product roadmap that aligns with overarching goals. Prioritize features based on technical feasibility, customer value, and time-to-market.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work day-to-day with ML engineers, platform engineers, designers, and QA to ensure successful and timely delivery of product milestones.
  • AI Use Case Implementation: Partner with engineering and data science teams to turn promising AI use cases (e.g., image classification, generative AI, predictive analytics) into reliable, production-ready features.
  • Testing and QA: Coordinate user testing, manage edge cases, and proactively mitigate delivery risks through clear specs and alignment with technical leads.
  • Launch Execution: Support product launches with documentation, training materials, go-to-market inputs, and customer-facing support in coordination with sales and marketing.
  • Product Analytics: Monitor product usage and performance metrics post-launch to validate success and inform ongoing improvements.
  • Ensure Compliance: Collaborate with legal and policy teams to ensure product compliance with privacy, ethical AI, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA a plus but not required).
  • 15+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 3–5 years delivering AI/ML-powered solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in shipping production-grade AI products in B2B or industrial/public sector environments.
  • Deep understanding of AI and ML technologies including supervised learning, transformers, neural nets, and generative AI with an emphasis on real-world deployment challenges.
  • Experience working on hardware-integrated products such as IoT devices (e.g., drones, body cams, cameras, sensors).
  • Strong UX sensibility and experience partnering with design teams to create user-friendly, AI-driven experiences.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, with a focus on clarity, alignment, and driving progress.
  • Experience working in agile environments, using tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops, and Figma for collaboration.
  • Customer-first mindset with a strong bias toward action and impact.

In addition to base salary, this role will also be offered equity and subsidized benefits (details available upon request).
