About Amperos

Amperos is healthcare's first AI-native denial management and revenue recovery platform. Our agentic AI works claims end-to-end, from portal follow-ups and payor calls to appeals and medical records, so providers can resolve more denials, recover more revenue, and focus on what matters most: serving patients.

We just closed a $16M Series A led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with continued participation from Uncork Capital and Neo. We're still small, still early, and going after a $260B+ problem that's only getting worse. If you want to work on hard problems that matter, alongside people who care deeply about the mission (and each other), we'd love to meet you.

About the role

We're looking to bring on our first full-time Product Designer. You’ll work very closely with our product-minded engineers to set a new standard for revenue cycle management (RCM) technology. You’ll design and think deeply about how humans and AI collaborate in software. As our core product offering is an AI-empowered service, you’ll have a unique, lightning-fast feedback cycle with our internal billing team. Come build the future of RCM software with us!

Projects you'll work on:

  • Workqueue software that helps assign and coordinate tasks among human and AI agents

  • Tools for our internal service team to help streamline their work

  • Analytic dashboards and custom reporting for healthcare executives

  • Easy to understand AI agent workflows within our platform

What we are looking for:

  • Can design elegant but familiar experiences for users that are used to antiquated software

  • Be able to quickly mock out end-to-end features and edge cases of complex billing workflows

  • Strong product discovery skills and user research experience with B2B and/or healthcare software

  • Experience building out a design system from 0-1 and leading implementation with engineering

  • At the frontier of using AI/LLM tools in your design processes (ie Figma Make, Claude Code, Cursor)

  • Very organized in Figma

  • Opportunity to grow and lead an AI-native design function in the future

  • Interest in antiquated industries and immersing yourself in the world of healthcare billing

  • Bonus points: experience building and designing RCM software, shipping frontend code with AI tools

Perks & Benefits

  • In-person culture at our Flatiron office in NYC with paid lunch and dinner

  • Flexible hours and time off

  • Gym stipend

  • Commuter benefits

  • Health, dental, vision insurance

  • 401(k) with matching contribution

  • Annual offsite
