At Databricks, we are passionate about helping data teams solve the world's toughest problems — from making the next mode of transportation a reality to accelerating the development of medical breakthroughs. We do this by building and running the world's best data and AI infrastructure platform so our customers can use deep data insights to improve their business.

As a Product Management Intern, you will join a team that works diligently to understand and solve our customers' most challenging problems. You will learn how to be a successful PM at a high-growth enterprise technology company that operates at the important intersection of data and AI. We're hiring across all of our teams, including AI Platform, Genie, Machine Learning, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, ETL, Streaming, and EDA. As part of our 2027 intern cohort, you will have a dedicated manager and mentor as well as two mentors and connect with product managers, engineers, designers, account teams, other interns, and leaders from across the company.

This is a 12 week paid summer internship program in either San Francisco, CA, Mountain View, CA, or Bellevue, WA.

The impact you will have:

  • Deeply understand customer problem space and establish the rails for viable solution space
  • Prototype and test early ideas with customers and engineers to validate direction before the team commits to a build
  • Work with engineers and designers to ship features on the Databricks platform
  • Own your project end-to-end — design, build, launch, and iterate on feedback
  • Build with scale, quality, and security in mind from day one

What we look for:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in computer science or a related engineering field graduating in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
  • You've used AI tooling for both personal productivity and development projects
  • You have some first hand experience with SQL and/or Python
  • You're hands-on and learn by doing — happy to build, test, and iterate your way to an answer
  • You use analytical skills to make data-driven decisions (e.g. analyzing product usage)
  • You can make complex topics simple and communicate nuance to partners (engineers, customers, field) in both written and verbal form
  • You're excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team
  • You stay curious and keep learning, whether it's a new technology, a customer's domain, or a corner of the product you haven't touched
