From the original posting

The Product Management team drives Asana’s product strategy and execution, translating customer needs and opportunities into a compelling roadmap and working cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions for team productivity and collaboration. We’re helping to define the Work Management category and inventing new ways for teams to work more efficiently together and see the larger purpose behind their work. Our team works directly with Engineering, Design, Experience Research, and Data Science, as well as with Sales, Support, and Marketing to ship great products. You’ll take part in every type of product work here — from strategy to product to process improvements — conceptualizing, launching, and iterating on Asana itself for millions of teams around the world.

We are looking for a product manager to join Asana’s Work Intake team, which enables teams of humans and agents to get more work context into Asana and seamlessly execute on it. You’ll be responsible for defining the path to product-market fit for new work intake capabilities, for both internal and external customers. You’ll synthesize and prioritize customer and market feedback into product features that can move the needle, and set a compelling roadmap that delivers maximum return on investment. You’ll develop capabilities that other internal teams can incorporate into their product solutions and collaborate with partner teams to develop joint solutions where your surface areas and responsibilities overlap.

We are looking for someone who can find the signal in the noise, with deep customer empathy for high-complexity team collaboration workflows. The ideal product manager has an end-to-end ownership mindset and drives for results by breaking work into clear increments, sequencing dependencies, leveraging data and AI, and collaborating with technical partners on tradeoffs affecting reliability and performance. You thrive on learning from customers, and are excited to partner with engineering, design, user research, sales, and the rest of our amazing PM team.

This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.

What you’ll achieve

  • Define and deliver a compelling roadmap to ensure customers have the structure they need to power their end to end workflows.
  • Synthesize input from customers, user research, data science, and business partners, ensuring we are continuously investing in the highest leverage work intake solutions
  • Drive MVP offerings to product market fit with rigorous prioritization and seamless execution
  • Partner closely with design, engineering, marketing, and customer success to co-create a cohesive end to end journey and execute on the roadmap with velocity.
  • Collaborate across the R&D organization to support other R&D teams in achieving their goals.

About you

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Customer-centric: Spend time directly with customers to understand their nuanced challenge and synthesize research to identify and solve problems.
  • Communication and collaboration: Communicate clearly and concisely, creating signal through the noise. Collaborate deeply with cross-functional teams, providing the product perspective and bringing clarity to complex concepts. You pair effectively with design, engineering, and our business teams.
  • Systems thinker: Think systemically, creating solutions that simplify complex use cases for customers.
  • Get Stuff Done: Execute projects with high velocity, breaking them down into MVPs and iterative stages for impactful delivery.
  • Grow Team Asana: Foster team morale and share best practices in product management.
  • Growth Mindset: Embrace a growth mindset, welcoming feedback and maintaining curiosity in learning.

At Asana, we're committed to building teams that include a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, as this is critical to helping us achieve our mission. If you're interested in this role and don't meet every listed requirement, we still encourage you to apply.

What we’ll offer

  • Generous, transparent and fair compensation system
  • Contract of Employment (and the option of 50% tax deductible costs for author’s rights usage in respect of applicable roles)
  • Health insurance with dental and travel coverage (Lux Med)
  • Meals reimbursement on the days that you work from the office
  • Career growth budget
  • Home office setup budget
  • Gym/Fitness reimbursement
  • Fertility healthcare and family-forming support with Carrot
