The Compliance product and engineering team is responsible for ensuring that Pinterest scalably complies with all new and existing regulations, and advocates for Pinner privacy and safety, data governance, and rights holders.

What you’ll do:

  • Understand global and domestic legislative landscape, specifically related to content and IP laws, to inform prioritization
  • Own and drive the Compliance Engineering product roadmap, including tools for rights holders, legal reporting channels, and associated internal workflows
  • Partner with Engineering to identify and build systems and features that scale across legislation
  • Own and improve suite of copyright and trademark tools to allow rights holders to manage their content at scale
  • Lead key compliance projects, partnering with Legal, Operations, Policy, Engineering and other product teams across Pinterest

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in a role related to product development, at fast-growing technology companies
  • Experience and demonstrated passion for legal and/or copyright/rights-related initiatives
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Capable of driving clarity while balancing multiple perspectives and stakeholders
  • Comfortable diving into ambiguous technical problems, working closely with engineering teams
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in writing and verbally to many stakeholders
  • Great business judgment and ability to influence others with strong analytical thinking
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
