What You Will Be Doing
  • Perform reviews of customer contracts to evaluate the impact of complex or non-standard transactions and assess implications of ASC 606.
  • Support multiple operational accounting activities within monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Finance.
  • Contribute to the integrity of our financial systems by maintaining and enhancing internal control documentation and supporting SOX compliance.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives to streamline Revenue deliverables and reporting, facilitating efficiency and accuracy.
  • Help prepare data and other support information requests as needed for audits and reviews conducted by external auditors.
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent applicable experience (CA/CPA preferred).
  • Big 4 experience is a plus.
  • 2+ years of overall experience in revenue with a knowledge of ASC 606, preferably within software industry.
  • Experience with financial systems such as RevPro, NetSuite and CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in G-suite and AI tools is highly desired.
  • Foundational knowledge of the 5-step revenue recognition model, preferably within the software/SaaS industry.
  • Experience in a dynamic, high-growth, global company and are comfortable collaborating across functions.
  • Revenue related operational experience, including reconciliations and managing complex large datasets.
  • A continuous improvement mindset to navigate evolving and ambiguous change with curiosity, agility, and composure.
  • Solid communication and social skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to assess complex information and reach clear conclusions.
  • A fast learner with the ability to investigate autonomously and a deep attention to detail.
