Who we are

Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.

Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.

Atoms builds Physical AI — real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.

This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.

We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.

If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and transform Atoms' global Financial Operations organization, bringing together Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record-to-Report, and other transaction-processing activities under a unified operating model
  • Manage distributed Centers of Excellence and establish clear ownership, service levels, controls, and performance metrics across business units, regions, and processes
  • Consolidate fragmented or duplicated activities and create a flexible shared-services structure that improves resource utilization and supports the company's continued growth
  • Drive automation, systems improvements, and process redesign to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, accelerate cycle times, and increase operating efficiency
  • Partner with business-unit controllers, Finance Technology, Treasury, Tax, Payroll, Strategic Finance, and operational leaders to improve end-to-end finance processes

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of varied experience, including Big 4 and in-house experience with shared service centers
  • Ability to assess a fragmented global organization and design a more integrated, scalable shared-services model with clear ownership, governance, and accountability.
  • Track record of simplifying and standardizing end-to-end finance processes across AP, AR, Record-to-Report, and related operational areas
  • Ability to identify manual work, control gaps, and process bottlenecks, then partner with technology teams to implement practical automation and systems improvements
  • Experience leading large, distributed teams across multiple countries, time zones, and Centers of Excellence, while maintaining service quality and employee engagement
  • Ability to drive significant organizational change, including consolidation, role redesign, outsourcing, and new ways of working, without disrupting critical day-to-day operations

The work is ambitious and often challenging, but it’s grounded in a shared sense of purpose and a team committed to seeing it through together. Our work only matters if it serves others, and we know that meaningful progress depends on the trust of the people we serve and the strength of our team—so we invest in both, creating an environment where you can do your best work and grow.
