Our Ethos

We believe in an open and flat structure. You will be able to grow into the role that most aligns with your goals. Our team members at all levels have the freedom to explore ideas and impact the roadmap and vision of our company.

About the Team

Rain is seeking a seasoned Account Manager to join our team, with a dedicated focus on our most strategic accounts. These relationships carry outsized revenue and reputational weight for Rain and require a high-touch, white-glove, deeply relationship-driven servicing model. In this role, you will be a key player in managing these top accounts end-to-end: driving expansions and renewals, leading QBRs, and ensuring Rain shows up as the best possible partner at every stage of the relationship. You will operate in a player-coach model, working closely alongside our existing senior and enterprise account managers.

What you’ll do

  • Embed directly into our most strategic accounts on day one

  • Own the senior relationship layer with key leaders across our partners and Rain

  • Unblock cross-functional issues fast by collaborate with internal teams to understand customer needs and tailor solutions to ensure needs are being exceeded

  • Drive revenue and deepen partnerships by identifying use-case expansion, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and leading renewals, expansions, and QBRs end-to-end

  • Provide data-driven insights to enhance the user experience and ensure companies are making the most out of Rain's products

  • Set the enterprise account management operating rhythm: weekly account health reviews, escalation triage, and internal and third-party coordination on behalf of partners

  • Build the playbook for what dedicated enterprise servicing and relationship management looks like at Rain

  • Act as the primary advocate internally for our top accounts to make sure their needs shape how we prioritize and build

You are likely to succeed if you have:

  • 8+ years in account management, customer success, or strategic partnerships at a fintech, payments, or crypto company

  • A track record owning senior, executive-level client relationships, not just day-to-day account operations

  • Experience negotiating and managing complex commercial relationships involving legal, compliance, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders

  • Comfort operating without a large team on day one. This is a hands-on, embedded role for someone motivated by impact

  • Experience navigating escalations that require pulling in engineering, product, or compliance. You need to know how to get the right people in a room and hold them accountable

  • Senior roles at both large enterprises and startup or scale-up companies. Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements, build scalable solutions, and thrive in fast-moving, iterative environments

Bonus attributes:

  • Experience standing up a new team or function from scratch, rather than inheriting an existing one

  • Deep familiarity with stablecoins, cross-border payments infrastructure, and card issuing ecosystems

  • Existing network across fintech, banking, payments, stablecoin, or broader financial infrastructure ecosystems
