You will work closely alongside Deal Desk (our sales contract structuring team), Sales Operations, Legal, Product, and the broader finance team. Together, we ensure seamless IFRS 15 compliance while continually reimagining and optimizing our global revenue engine.

Your responsibilities

Revenue Recognition

  • Review and analyze contracts and add-ons to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.

  • Handle complex revenue scenarios across our SaaS and high-volume data environment.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual closing adjustments and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to revenue.

  • Ensure accounts are closed in a timely manner with robust documentation.

Data Analytics & Automation

  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract data from various infrastructure (e.g., Salesforce, Databricks) for monthly revenue closing and reporting.

  • Automate large-scale reconciliations between source systems and the general ledger, identifying and resolving discrepancies in real-time.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline efficiency and enhance revenue recognition processes within complex contracts.

  • Implement best practices to elevate overall financial efficiency and precision.

  • Drive full automation and optimization across revenue workflows.

Compliance and Audit

  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate directly with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.

  • Maintain strong internal controls and detailed documentation.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Deal Desk, Legal, Sales Operations, and Product to guarantee operational alignment on revenue matters.

  • Provide valuable financial insights and guidance to support broader business decisions.

  • Review prospective contracts and empower sales teams to understand key revenue recognition rules.

System Implementation

  • Ensure all systems are fully configured to comply with IFRS 15 requirements.

  • Leverage strong analytical capabilities to handle and interpret large datasets.

Policy Development

  • Develop and update clear revenue recognition policies, procedures, flowcharts, and controls documentation.

  • Ensure documentation is comprehensive, clear, and accessible internally.

  • Take full ownership of our revenue accounting processes.
