What You’ll Do

The CISO organization at CoreWeave is responsible for executing and delivering security, trust, and assurance across our products, platforms, and operations. Within this organization, the Security Trust & Assurance team is building leading Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) programs, including third party risk management (TPRM).

As a TPRM Technical Program Manager, you will work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, IT, and Legal to govern CoreWeave’s external data sharing. This is a hands-on and operational role that will directly contribute to CoreWeave’s security and privacy objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain a complete register of external data shares, including data categories, purpose, legal basis, transfer mechanism, and contractual restrictions.
  • Define and operationalize controls for onboarding new external shares: pre-share review, minimization, approved transfer methods, and documented approvals.
  • Monitor external data flows to detect undocumented, expired, or out-of-scope sharing, and drive remediation to closure with the accountable teams.
  • Establish metrics and reporting on data mapping coverage and external sharing risk for leadership and governance forums.
  • Contribute to the the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with CoreWeave's overall security, privacy, and business objectives
  • Oversee & execute third party security risk assessments, including analysis of appropriate security controls, contract requirements, and compliance documentation
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for technical TPRM & Privacy risks, effectively communicating complex concepts and remediation strategies to technical and executive audiences
  • Tailor communications to a diverse audience and remain adaptable to a wide range of personalities and technical depth

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in third-party risk management, data governance, privacy, or information security risk, with at least 2 years focused on external data sharing.
  • Demonstrated experience building or maintaining data inventories/data maps, including data classification, processing purpose, legal basis, and cross-border transfer mechanisms.
  • Experience implementing continuous or automated monitoring of data flows
  • Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CRISC.
  • Working knowledge of major privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and transfer mechanisms such as SCCs, DPAs, and adequacy decisions.
  • Hands-on experience conducting third-party security risk assessments, including evaluation of security controls, contractual security/privacy terms, and compliance artifacts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, penetration test reports).
  • Familiarity with common security control frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27701, SOC 2) and the ability to assess control adequacy for a given data-sharing scenario.
  • Experience designing and operating a repeatable review or approval workflow, and driving remediation items to closure with cross-functional owners.
  • Ability to define and report metrics to leadership and governance committees, translating technical risk into business impact.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to adapt messaging for both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment and building programs where limited process exists.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience working with CSPs/Hyperscalers.
  • Ability to write light-weight automation or queries (SQL, Python, or scripting) to pull, reconcile, and validate data-sharing inventories at scale.
  • Experience supporting audits or certifications and responding to customer or regulator inquiries about subprocessor and data-sharing practices.
  • Experience negotiating or reviewing DPAs, subprocessor agreements, and security exhibits alongside legal and procurement teams.
  • Prior work building a program from the ground up rather than operating an established one.

The base salary range for this role is $157,000 to $210,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
