You'll take on a highly influential role shaping vision and execution across key strategic initiatives. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders, contribute to high-impact decisions, guide complex projects from concept to completion, and mentor others on the team. This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA, with in-person attendance expected at least three days per week.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and operate scalable, highly available infrastructure systems that support core product functionality and internal services.
  • Build, maintain, and evolve internal platforms, shared services, and tooling that enable reliable, efficient software development, testing, and deployment.
  • Own infrastructure components throughout their full lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support business-critical workloads, platform capabilities, and system integrations.
  • Improve system reliability, performance, observability, and automation by identifying bottlenecks, reducing operational risk, and implementing engineering best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts to ensure production system stability and availability.
  • Monitor production systems and infrastructure to identify issues, validate system health, and support capacity planning and scaling needs.
  • Ensure infrastructure systems meet security, compliance, and operational standards in production environments.
  • Document system designs, operational procedures, and changes to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.

What you bring

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Education and/or experience must include:
    • GoLang, Python, or Scala;
    • Kubernetes or Docker;
    • EC2, S3, IAM, or VPC;
    • Terraform or CloudFormation;
    • Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog;
    • Buildkite, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions; and
    • PostgreSQL, Redis, or DynamoDB.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to the corresponding compensation zone.

Base Pay Range:

$161,637 - $195,000 per year
