What you'll do:
- Own the day-to-day relationship with Pinterest's IT deployment and support service partners, driving performance, escalation resolution, and SLA accountability.
- Build and manage a metrics and reporting program for outsourced IT services, defining KPIs and running regular business reviews to hold partners accountable to service and cost targets.
- Bring AI into the team's day-to-day workflows, using it to speed up vendor and metrics reporting and improve how we run service operations.
- Partner closely with the IT Project & Program Manager team supporting global deployment and vendor operations, while owning the vendor/MSP relationships that power those services.
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Security to manage vendor contracts, invoicing accuracy, and compliance across service partnerships.
- Support asset lifecycle and recovery programs, ensuring accurate reporting and cost optimization.
- Help evaluate and onboard new service-delivery capacity to extend Pinterest's global IT support coverage as needs evolve.
- Partner with IT leadership on budget planning and forecasting for vendor-delivered services.
- Identify and help drive cost-savings opportunities across hardware and vendor spend (e.g., logistics/shipping efficiencies, hardware standardization), and help define how we track and report on those savings.
- Serve as backup Scrum Lead for the team, with the opportunity to grow into the primary Scrum Lead role over time.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience managing outsourced/managed service provider relationships at scale, including SLAs and vendor governance.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience building KPI/metrics programs and translating data into recommendations.
- Strong collaborator and communicator, comfortable mentoring peers and influencing outcomes without formal management authority.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Security.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare executive-ready materials.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in IT vendor/MSP management, IT asset management, or a related field.
- Experience implementing AI into day-to-day workflows, with a practical approach to driving adoption and measuring impact.
- Preferred: experience with metrics and ticketing/support tools such as Zendesk.
