From the original posting

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to own and drive our Platform — the foundational infrastructure layer powering our Application Modernization Platform (AMP). This is a high-impact, technically demanding product leadership role that sits at the intersection of platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and next-generation AI.

You will be responsible for standing up the platform from the ground up — or significantly evolving an existing foundation — covering service hosting, API gateways, identity and access management, observability stacks, telemetry pipelines, and error-logging frameworks.

The ideal candidate has walked in the shoes of an SRE, built or scaled a SaaS or application modernization platform, or served as a product manager for platform, infrastructure, or DevOps products at a leading enterprise technology company.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram for our hybrid working model.

What you'll own

  • Define and execute the strategy for compute and hosting infrastructure, including container orchestration, multi‑region deployments, API gateway capabilities, and service mesh adoption
  • Own IAM for human and machine identities, implementing industry‑standard protocols and scalable authorization models (RBAC, ABAC) to secure multi‑tenant SaaS environments
  • Lead the observability strategy across metrics, tracing, and logging, set and monitor reliability targets, and deliver insights to improve incident response, platform reliability, and capacity planning
  • Own the vision and roadmap for the external AMP Dashboard, providing customers with actionable insights, analytics, and tools to manage and track modernization projects end‑to‑end through an intuitive, enterprise‑grade interface
  • Champion developer productivity and adoption by delivering self‑service, well‑documented platform capabilities, tracking key performance metrics, and acting on feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Serve as the product bridge between engineering, security, and product teams, influencing technical and strategic decisions, managing vendor evaluations, and communicating progress and vision to senior leadership

What you'll bring

  • 8+ years of overall professional experience; 4+ years in a product management role focused on platform, infrastructure, observability, or SRE domains
  • Deep technical fluency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on familiarity with API gateway configuration, service mesh patterns, and microservices architecture
  • Working knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML) and authorization models (RBAC, ABAC)
  • Experience with at least one full observability stack: metrics collection, distributed tracing, and centralized log management
  • Proven ability to define and track reliability metrics (SLIs/SLOs/error budgets) and drive engineering teams toward measurable reliability goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — can translate complex infrastructure concepts for both technical and executive audiences
  • Comfortable operating in high ambiguity; able to define product scope and priorities with incomplete information

Bonus Points

  • Prior experience evaluating or deploying LLM orchestration layers or AI/ML platform tooling
  • Familiarity with AI observability tooling
  • Experience with multi-agent system design patterns (tool use, memory, planning loops, guardrails)
  • Background at a company with an India engineering hub — experience working within a globally distributed engineering organization is a strong plus
