Staff Technical Program Manager, Brokerage

Robinhood's Brokerage TPM team drives the execution of the most complex, high-stakes engineering programs in the company. We operate at the intersection of product, engineering, design, and operations — providing the structure, clarity, and momentum that large cross-functional programs need to move fast and ship with confidence.

As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you will own end-to-end execution for one of the highest-profile programs in Robinhood Brokerage right now — a large-scale, cross-functional initiative with real-world impact on how millions of Americans experience financial products. You'll be the connective tissue across engineering teams, product, design, and CX, driving delivery with a high degree of autonomy. You'll also partner closely with the program's operations principal — crafting the narratives and communications that keep internal and external stakeholders aligned. This isn't a role for someone who needs constant direction. This is a role for someone who sees a complex program and knows exactly how to move it forward!

This role is based in our New York City or Menlo Park office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end engineering execution for a high-profile, cross-functional Brokerage program — driving delivery across multiple engineering teams with minimal oversight
• Serve as the primary coordination layer across product, design, CX, and engineering — filling execution gaps, resolving blockers, and keeping the program moving with clarity and speed
• Partner with the program's operations principal to craft concise, polished narratives and stakeholder communications used across internal and external audiences
• Identify risks and dependencies early, create structure where it's missing, and hold teams accountable to timelines without slowing them down
• Provide engineering teams with the context, clarity, and decision support they need to execute confidently and efficiently
• Build and maintain a clear view of program health — surfacing the right information to the right stakeholders at the right time

What you bring

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, with a track record of independently owning and delivering large-scale, cross-functional engineering programs
• Strong technical depth — you understand system design, are comfortable with AWS and core infrastructure concepts, and can hold your own in engineering conversations without needing to write code
• Exceptional written communication skills — you write clean, concise narratives and can translate complex technical work into clear stakeholder updates
• High agency — you're a self-directed operator who takes a program and runs with it; you don't wait to be managed
• Exceptional organizational skills — you thrive in ambiguity, create structure intuitively, and give complex multi-team programs the clarity they need to move
• This position requires U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident (green card) status
