STARLINK COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (CONSUMER LIFECYCLE)

Starlink Consumer Communications is hiring a Communications Manager to run post-purchase email programs for existing customers: plan upgrades, accessories, bundles, and referrals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, write, and run post-purchase email programs that grow revenue from customers who already have the kit (upsell, upgrades, accessories, referrals, and similar)
  • Use targeting, testing, and reporting to improve conversion and scale those programs over time
  • Support launches of new offers and products as they become available, with a focus on attach, upgrade, and expansion
  • Report on conversion, revenue, and related metrics
  • Support other customer communications as needed, including plan and price changes, terms of service, and new-country launches

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism, economics or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, growth, or consumer communications, with owned programs that drove measurable upsell, upgrade, and retention outcomes

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Hands-on experience building automated, trigger-based lifecycle emails: targeting, cadence, A/B testing, and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to write customer-facing copy
  • Comfort owning experiment design and commercial metrics (conversion, mix, incremental revenue/ARR, unsubscribe and complaint cost)
  • Subscription or consumer-technology experience
  • Comfort with data used to target and measure email programs
  • Experience working with legal, product, and operations partners

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
  • Willingness to travel as needed

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range:
Level 3: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
