Founded by experts in AI and semiconductor design, we partner with top-10 semiconductor companies, hyperscalers, and cutting-edge startups. Role Overview

We are looking for a Strategic Finance & Pricing Lead to help build and own the financial infrastructure that powers ChipAgents' growth. This role sits at the intersection of our finance, sales, and R&D efforts, translating complex enterprise deals, compute economics, and partnership structures into clear pricing strategy, forecasts, and board-ready analysis. You'll play a central role in building the financial rigor and strategic clarity that lets ChipAgents scale sustainably as the business and product grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own forecasting and budgeting across the business

  • Define and evolve pricing strategy for complex enterprise, midmarket, SMB customers across a variety of LLM and non-LLM based products

  • Act as deal desk for strategic sales, understanding the financial impact of complex enterprise agreements

  • Model the business impact of complex, multithreaded partnership agreements

  • Support fundraising diligence and preparation of board materials

  • Build the business case and ROI models for major spend decisions, including the purchase of data, model training compute, and inference compute

  • Partner closely with partnerships, product, and R&D to evaluate buy vs. build vs. partner decisions that advance ChipAgents' roadmap and competitiveness

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in pricing, investment banking, investing, or FP&A at a high-growth or consumption-based business, with hands-on work in forecasting, financial modeling, or pricing strategy.

  • Strong track record building and maintaining financial models at scale, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and scenario/ROI analysis.

  • Comfort working directly with sales, partnerships, and external stakeholders to structure and evaluate complex enterprise or partnership agreements.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or similar).

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with partnerships, product, and R&D teams in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with chip design or EDA industry economics, such as tooling licensing models.

  • Prior experience building or scaling pricing models for a consumption-based or usage-metered products.

  • Background in the semiconductor or EDA industry.

Why ChipAgents

  • Build the financial foundation for a category-defining AI platform at the intersection of the two biggest technology waves of the decade, AI and semiconductors.

  • Own pricing and strategic finance from the ground up at an early-stage company, not inherit a playbook inside a large, established finance org.

  • Work alongside a world-class technical team and an advisory board of EDA legends, with real product, real customers, and real scale already in production.

Equal Opportunity

ChipAgents is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds.

What We Offer

  • $150k - 200K base salary + equity. Open to above-scale compensation for exceptional candidates.

  • Unlimited PTO and full benefits (medical, vision, dental, 401k).

  • Two engineering-centric offices with free parking, private gym, and free lunch, drinks and snacks.
