The CesiumAstro Hardware Design Team is looking for Spring 2026 interns to design and build electronics hardware for satellite communication systems.   On the CesiumAstro Hardware Design Team, we are responsible for full-stack hardware development for cutting-edge space electronics. We own designs from initial concept through part selection, schematic, layout, build, test, and delivery, all the way through in-orbit support. Designs encompass the spectrum of electronics design, including high-speed digital, power electronics, and RF hardware – often on the same board.   We’re looking for summer interns to support our mission. Interns work side-by-side with design engineers: contributing to the company’s success is as high of a priority as learning and gaining experience. Interns are typically responsible for their own schematics and layouts as well as supporting analysis and hands-on lab work.
