Treasury Finance at Brex

The Finance team is a strategic engine at Brex. We lead planning, forecasting, investor relations, and corporate development — partnering across the business to drive clarity and unlock opportunity. What you’ll do

The Treasury team at Brex is responsible for managing Brex’s liquidity, settlement operations, bank account management and cash forecasting. As an Associate on the Treasury team, you will be directly responsible for Brex’s daily liquidity operations. Additionally you will support the Treasury team with risk management, reporting, and automation opportunities. You will also partner with the broader finance team on financial forecasting.

Where you’ll work

This role will be based in our San Francisco office. You must be willing to work in office at least 3 days per week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Employees will be able to work remotely for up to 4 weeks per year, for a minimum of 1 week at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily settlement operations and liquidity positioning, including the investment of excess liquidity
  • Forecast liquidity and prepare regular treasury reports
  • Process all Treasury wires
  • Open and close bank accounts, update signatories, support KYC reviews, and ensure controls around account access
  • Track and forecast bank fees
  • Prepare regular reporting and work on automation projects
  • Support intercompany transactions such as equity injections and dividends

Requirements

  • 2+ years of treasury, corporate finance, banking, or FP&A experience (or a related field)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business or a related field
  • Excellent work ethic and a willingness to contribute beyond the prescribed role to achieve company objectives
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable working cross functionally and with external partners
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High level of proficiency in Excel

Bonus points

  • Previous experience working with a Treasury Management System
  • Previous experience at a FinTech
