From the original posting
At Braze, we have found our people. We’re a genuinely approachable, exceptionally kind, and intensely passionate crew.
Location: Remote (US) — core hours estimated 9:00 AM–2:00 PM PT Mon–Thu, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM PT Fri Duration: September 1 – March 30 (~7 months) Commitment: 20–25 hours/week Type: Direct contract
Our web marketing team runs several parallel workstreams: SEO/AEO, CRO, and quarterly web launches — supported by specialists and cross-functional partners. During a planned leave of absence, execution of each workstream is covered by existing team members. What this role owns is the connective tissue: the meeting rhythm, the follow-ups, and the cross-team communication that keep web marketing coordinated and moving.
This is a process-and-communication role managing high velocity workstreams across teams and aligning resourcing and helping leadership make decisions to keep the roadmap on schedule and on scope. You'll keep the moving pieces together so the team can stay focused on the work itself.
Run the operating rhythm. Facilitate the weekly SEO/AEO/CRO meeting and keep web team standup mechanics tight: agendas, notes, and action tracking. Attend internal engineering, AEO/SEO, and web meetings and capture the requests and decisions landing on the web team. Sit on agency calls and assist with roadmap and follow ups and action items.
Keep the roadmap visible. Assemble the written web updates broadcast to cross-functional stakeholders (reviewed by the web team lead before distribution) and help prioritize incoming work with input from workstream owners.
Groom the backlogs. Keep the AEO/SEO and CRO backlogs current: mark items done, capture new requests for triage, and flag when runway is getting thin.
Track and chase. Follow up on action items across workstreams so nothing silently stalls.
Escalate with judgment. Spot blockers and route them to the right owner: execution questions to the web team lead, program decisions to the program owner. Deliver a weekly one-page status report to leadership so they have visibility without extra meetings. Act as the connective issue across a variety of marketing calls actively identifying which items are related for the web team and will need resourcing or prioritization.
Support launch coordination. Keep the quarterly web launch checklist moving (owners, dates, dependencies) and partner with BizOps on timeline and strategy alignment, including occasional support materials such as slides.
You'll report day-to-day to the Sr director of digital with the web experience manager and SEO/CRO managers as your first point of contact for execution questions.
