This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched.

Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you.

At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

We are looking for a lawyer to join our legal team to expand our commercial function. You will interface with our go-to-market, business and cross-functional teams (including Engineering, Product, Privacy and Security) to help ensure the fast, efficient execution of our agreements with customers.

What You'll Do

This role is based in Sydney. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week.

  • Approximately 3-5 years post-admission experience gained in a top-tier or leading law firm and/or in-house legal team

  • Transactional background including SaaS / technology and IP-rich commercial agreements

  • Familiarity with Australian privacy and data protection law as well as financial services regulatory concepts (including working with APRA-regulated institutions) well regarded

  • Ability to think creatively, function independently and work proactively in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-focused and collaborative work style; willingness to build expertise and solve new challenges in an evolving practice

  • Hyper-responsive and service-oriented attitude

  • Ninja-like project management skills
