About the Role

As Pallet scales with mid-market and enterprise customers, deployments need to be clear, organized, and deeply customer-aware. Customers are adopting AI agents in real operational workflows, which means the details matter: requirements, edge cases, stakeholder alignment, change management, testing, and go-live support.

The Associate Deployment Strategist helps own customer deployments from discovery and workflow design through execution, launch, and ongoing success. You’ll work closely with customers, Agent Delivery Engineers, Product, Sales, and Success to turn messy real-world processes into reliable AI agent workflows.

This is a client-facing, high-growth role for someone early in their career who is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment. You’ll primarily support mid-market deployments, own day-to-day customer coordination, and partner with senior team members on larger or more complex accounts.

Why This Role Is Different

You won’t inherit a fully built playbook; you’ll help create it. This role sits at the center of customer deployment, product feedback, and operational execution. You’ll work directly with customers, learn how AI agents are deployed in mission-critical workflows, and help shape how Pallet scales implementation across a growing customer base.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Serve as the executive point of contact for customer deployments and long-term success
  • Lead customer discovery to understand workflows, constraints, and success criteria
  • Translate complex business processes into executable AI agent workflows
  • Partner with Agent Delivery Engineers to validate assumptions and execute technically
  • Configure, test, and release agent configurations for customer use cases
  • Own deployment plans, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication
  • Lead customer kickoffs, milestone reviews, QBRs, and executive updates
  • Proactively manage scope changes, escalations, and expectation-setting
  • Improve and scale onboarding and deployment processes over time
  • Travel for key customer milestones and kickoffs as needed (~25%)

What Success Looks Like

  • Customers have clearly defined, executable workflows aligned to their business reality
  • Deployments stay on track despite ambiguity, changing requirements, or complexity
  • Executives feel informed, confident, and trust Pallet as a long-term partner
  • Internal teams are aligned, accountable, and coordinated around customer outcomes
  • Deployment processes become more repeatable and scalable without sacrificing quality

What You’ll Bring

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing, operations, implementation, consulting, product, support, or technical project role
  • Strong organization and follow-through across multiple workstreams
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working with customers and asking thoughtful questions
  • Ability to break down complex workflows into clear steps, requirements, and decisions
  • Interest in AI, automation, logistics, and operational systems
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort working in spreadsheets and presentation tools
  • Basic technical acumen, including familiarity with APIs, JSON, SQL, or system workflows
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment and create structure from ambiguity

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a SaaS, logistics, supply chain, marketplace, or workflow automation company
  • Experience working with AI-driven or automation products
  • Technical degree or technical coursework in CS, Engineering, Math, Data, or related fields
  • Prior experience in implementation, customer success, solutions, or operations

Location & Logistics
