What We Do

Rillet serves accounting and finance teams, the financial brains of their companies. Our job is to help them run the numbers with impossible speed, accuracy, and insight.

Rillet is the AI-native ERP built for modern finance teams. We help companies automate the most critical parts of finance, from closing the books and recognizing revenue to consolidating entities and reporting to investors. More than 600 companies run on Rillet, including Mercor, Scribe, and Function Health, and we partner with leading accounting firms including EY and KPMG.

This huge market is ours to take. We’ve raised $200M+ from Sequoia, a16z, ICONIQ, Bain Capital Ventures, Oak HC/FT, and other leading investors to build the financial infrastructure for the next generation of companies and help every business run its numbers at the speed of AI.

Who We Are

Rillet’s pace is not for everyone. Intelligence is table stakes. To succeed here, you need extreme speed, agency, and flexibility.

The people who thrive at Rillet do not wait for assignments. They internalize the mission, design a strategy, and bring back results that are better, faster, and more creative than a manager could have asked for.

Our work revolves around our customers. The people who succeed here are energized by delivering what matters most, even when it was not part of the original plan.

Rillet is built on deep accounting expertise, and it takes people from many disciplines to build a category-defining company. You do not need to be an accountant to thrive here. You do need to care deeply about the problems we solve and the impact our customers can create. Together, we combine the precision of accounting with the speed, creativity, and ambition of AI-native software to power the financial core of the world’s fastest-growing companies while redefining what finance teams should expect from their software.

Who We Need

Rillet is looking for a Business Operations hire who builds with AI, not one who just talks about it. You'll work directly with function leaders across Sales, Partnership, Customer Success, and Deployment to rethink how their teams operate. You’ll drive real transformation in ways of working, not just automating small tasks, while also picking up core BizOps projects alongside the founders and Chief of Staff. This is a high-ownership role for someone who's already proven they can build: ideally time at a top consulting firm or investing shop (MBB, VC, PE) followed by a hands-on stint at a high-growth startup shipping AI-powered tools and processes.

We're looking for teammates who are based near our New York City or San Francisco offices, or open to relocating. Our hybrid schedule brings the team together in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible day each week. Some roles may spend more time in the office depending on the needs of the team.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with function leaders to define AI transformation for their team.

  • Push for step-change transformation of ways of working, not just a pile of small automations.

  • Own execution end-to-end, from framing the problem to something the team runs on daily.

  • Drive adoption. The job's done when the team has genuinely changed how it works, not when something ships.

  • Work closely with AI engineering to leverage the broader AI infrastructure at Rillet.

  • Beyond AI, take on high-visibility BizOps projects that shape the company — prepping the investor reports, supporting expansion to new markets, running analysis on GTM performance and make improvement recommendations.

Who We're Looking For

  • 3 - 5 years of experience; time at a top-tier management consulting firm (MBB) or a VC/PE fund, followed by an operating role at a startup where you personally built AI-powered systems, tools, or processes — not just used AI as an end user.

  • Able to speak concretely to what you built: the problem, the approach, the tech stack, and the measured outcome.

  • Fluent with current AI tooling and moves fast to apply new capabilities to real workflows, not just aware of the news.

  • Highly organized, adaptable, and a natural problem-solver.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail.

  • Proven track record of taking initiative, navigating ambiguity, and delivering measurable results.

  • Action-oriented with a bias toward execution—you move quickly, take ownership, and aren’t afraid to pitch in beyond your core responsibilities.

  • Willingness to travel a few times yearly for team offsites, events, and gatherings.

The expected base salary range for this role is $110,000–$150,000 in New York City and San Francisco. Final compensation within this range will depend on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and the scope of the role. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
