👋 Meet knownwell, weight-inclusive healthcare for all. Join a dynamic company that is changing the way obesity care is delivered. We offer weight management, primary care, nutrition counseling, and health coaching. Our care model combines in-clinic and virtual care to bring support to patients where and when they need it.
🔍 We are looking to add a Content Marketing Manager to our team — someone who will shape how knownwell shows up for patients across various touchpoints, from the moment they land on our website to the emails and webinars that support them through their care. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role: the clarity, empathy, and consistency of our content directly shape whether patients feel understood, trust our care model, and stay engaged.
Reporting to Sr. Manager, Content, you will work cross-functionally with clinical, growth, and operations teams to bring knownwell's mission of stigma-free, weight-inclusive care to life — ensuring every piece of content is accurate, on-brand, and genuinely patient-centered.
Responsibilities:
Identify, align and contract with internal and external resources required to execute against content deliverables, including:
Website: Own the knownwell public website. Work closely with designers and developers on creating pages with SEO-optimized copy, clinician bios, and website updates to adapt to changing business needs
Blog: Own the blog. Responsible for content strategy and producing articles partnering with the SEO team and clinical team
Printed collateral: Own all printed collateral including brochures, flyers, referral materials, and patient facing educational materials in collaboration with design
Monthly newsletter: Own the newsletter. Fully execute the patient-facing newsletter from content strategy, copywriting, and HTML tweaks of the template in collaboration with lifecycle marketing
Webinars: Own the webinar. produce patient-facing monthly webinars in collaboration with knownwell clinicians
Third-party clinic & clinician listings: coordinate content between teams and manage reviews for profiles across Google Business Profiles, Yelp, HealthGrades, etc.
User research: user surveys and voice of customer report
Ensure brand voice, tone, and messaging remain consistent with knownwell's mission and values across all owned channels — acting as an internal ambassador for brand guidelines with designers, developers, and external vendors.
Partner with clinical, care team, and operations leads to translate medical and care-related information into accessible, empathetic, and engaging content.
Partner with designers, website engineers, and the broader marketing team to execute content across all owned channels.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in content marketing, brand communications, or a related field
Experience working in a startup environment
Proven success developing and executing content strategies across multiple channels, especially in healthcare, wellness, or mission-driven industries
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills — with a keen ability to adapt tones for different audiences (patients vs. providers, clinical vs. lifestyle)
Comfort working with data and translating insights into content optimizations.
A deep sense of empathy and sensitivity when it comes to healthcare communications — especially related to obesity, weight, and stigma
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
Familiarity with tools such as Webflow, Canva, Figma, Google Business Profiles, Braze, Airtable, and Zoom webinar functionality
Experience managing contracted designers and developers to assign work and align on deliverables
