At Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Contribute to security assessments for existing and new products

  • Support the design and implementation of secure boot processes for embedded devices, helping ensure the integrity and authenticity of firmware and software during boot-up

  • Partner with hardware engineers to integrate HSM solutions into embedded systems, learning how to build robust encryption, key management, and secure cryptographic operations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across software, hardware, QA, and product to help integrate security throughout the product development lifecycle

We're looking for someone who has:

  • BS/MS degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, graduating December 2026

  • Coursework, internship, research, or project experience in cybersecurity, embedded systems, or a related area

  • Strong curiosity about cybersecurity and eagerness to develop expertise in secure boot, HSM integration, and BSP work

Nice to have:

  • Internship, research, or project experience with automotive embedded systems, ECUs, in-vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), or automotive protocols like AUTOSAR

  • Exposure to automotive security standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 or UNECE WP.29

  • Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics protocols (OBD-II, UDS) or OTA update mechanisms

  • CTF participation, security research, or personal projects in embedded or IoT security
