The Role

We are looking for a driven, curious, and empathetic product management leader to push the envelope of Okta’s market footprint by growing our integration ecosystem. As Director of Product Management for Okta integration ecosystem, you will be responsible for product strategy, and managing a PM team dedicated to evolving the Okta built integrations across all the product lines. This is a high-impact role, and if you’re passionate about improving customer security and engaging with a vibrant community, we’re looking for you.

Work Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Work Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days Onsite per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy and growth of Okta’s build integrations through product vision.
  • Connect with key partners and customers to distill down feature asks and pain points into true requirements that deliver broad customer value.
  • Develop roadmaps that make hard tradeoffs and prioritize the highest value work first.
  • Build compelling hypotheses and find ways to validate assumptions at low cost.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including engineering, ISVs, tech partnerships, and marketing, to ensure the successful launch and adoption of ISV experience enhancements.
  • Work with development scrum teams (PM, UX, Dev) to deliver valuable new integration targeted features and product improvements to customers.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify integration needs, and use this information to inform strategic vision, innovation, product decisions, prioritization and roadmap.
  • Define and communicate product requirements, including features, user experience, and technical specifications, to engineering teams.
  • Leverage product data to continually get smarter about how to improve our existing products, and work across the business to drive adoption and success
  • Track industry trends and think strategically to develop solutions that are differentiated from the competition

Required:

  • 10+ years of technology product management, experience in enterprise scale SaaS products.
  • Experience building or product managing the user experience of a partner joining, engaging, and building upon a core enterprise software platform.
  • Strong leadership, communication (presentation, verbal and written) and collaboration skills. You easily work with customers and colleagues across different functions and backgrounds.
  • Track record of owning and delivering on large strategic projects - you can see the big picture, but deliver on the details
  • Demonstrated business results from products, features or capabilities you have shipped.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You can produce solid action plans from often incomplete, conflicting or ambiguous inputs.
  • Passion for Okta’s huge opportunity and growth potential, and general thirst for learning with an ability to go broad and deep across business and technical contexts.

Preferred:

  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM) platforms and security products.
  • Experience across the product management lifecycle for enterprise products or services, partner considerations surfaced in the user experience in particular
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access management protocols and products
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience that allows you to rationalize and influence technical design decisions.
  • Advanced degree in technical or business field, MBA helpful
