Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who’s fired up by our mission and ready to build. You’ll thrive here if you adapt quickly, take ownership, and care about the details.
You will join our Electrical Engineering team as a summer intern from June 14th-August 20th 2027. You will work from our headquarters in Torrance, CA. Given that we’re a startup, you will be working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment that requires adaptability. That said, here are some responsibilities and qualifications we expect to stay relatively constant for this role.
What You'll Do
- Supporting schematic capture, PCB layout, and design documentation for new and existing hardware.
- Testing and validating electrical assemblies through bench bring-up, measurements, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborating with engineers to prototype, debug, and iterate on circuit designs and system integrations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Targeting graduation in Summer 2028 or earlier.
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with circuit design and simulation tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, LTspice, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with electronics testing tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate progress and status of your work
