Quick facts
From the original posting
Camber is hiring an Enterprise Strategy Associate to partner with our Director of Enterprise Revenue to build the narrative behind our largest client partnerships. Revenue cycle is the bloodline of a clinic, and through data, you build trust with the client. You will drive the narrative that helps a clinic understand the impact Camber can have on its business, and you’ll use it to shape the strategy of the deal.
This is not a traditional analyst role. You will follow a clinic through its entire time at Camber, from the first conversation to a fully rolled-out partnership, and keep driving the value of Camber at every step. You will join a team that values agency, intellectual honesty, and a “rowing in the same direction” mentality.
Your time will be split across three stages of the client journey:
Go-to-Market: You leverage a clinic’s data to build the narrative for how Camber can impact its revenue cycle, partnering with a Director of Enterprise Revenue on the analysis and story to win the deal.
Implementation: You are the subject-matter expert on both Camber and the clinic, and that expertise drives how we serve them. You help make sure the value of Camber is seen and understood as we roll out.
Stable State: You work with the strategic account management team to inform and prepare material for the clinic’s key decision-makers to help them understand the impact Camber is having on their business.
Run Diagnostics: Dig into a clinic’s billing, claims, and payment data to find where revenue is being left on the table (e.g., denial trends, underpayments, aging AR, payer-specific patterns).
Build the Business Case: Size the opportunity in dollars and collection rate points, and build the ROI models that decision-makers use to say yes.
Drive the Strategy of the Deal: Use what the data says to decide where the deal goes: which problems to lead with, what each stakeholder cares about, and what a pilot needs to prove.
Build Executive-Ready Materials: Turn analysis into crisp, top-down stories that client leaders can act on and take to their own leadership.
Ready the Internal Team: Surface what a new enterprise account or vertical will demand (e.g., net-new integrations, custom analyses, reporting needs) and get Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations ahead of it before go-live.
Flag Early: Act as the account’s early-warning system. When something in the data or the relationship looks off, raise it to the right people before it becomes a fire.
Own the Data Relationship: Be the go-to partner for the client’s data and analytics leads through the pilot and beyond.
Prove and Communicate Value: Track performance against the baseline and tell the story of Camber’s impact in recurring business reviews. Delivering results is half the job. Making sure the client knows about them is the other half.
Experience: 1–3 years in management consulting, investment banking, or strategy at a fast-moving startup.
Data Fluency: Experience working with large, messy data sets and turning them into conclusions that drive decisions.
Customer and Executive Exposure: Previous experience working directly with customers and senior executives.
Commercial Instinct: You understand how businesses make money and what motivates the people making the decision, and you can tie your analysis back to both.
Learning Velocity: Healthcare or RCM experience is a plus but not required. What matters more is that you do your homework, ask sharp questions, and ramp quickly into a complex domain.
The ability to turn analysis into a narrative that moves a decision, not just a data dump.
“Client hands”: you’re comfortable and credible in front of a client, and you can hold your ground when the room pushes back.
A high bar for detail. Every number you put in front of a client is one you can defend.
High agency: you take ownership of ambiguous problems and create structure where none exists.
A collaborative spirit. You know when to pull in other teams, and you aren’t shy about asking for what you need.
Humility: you seek out critique and get better because of it.
