Job Description

The Facilities Team is the operational backbone that ensures our buildings and infrastructure run safely, efficiently, and reliably so our innovators can stay focused on creating the future. This role offers a dynamic playground for those passionate about mechanical, electrical, and building automation systems and are eager to expand their hands-on knowledge across a wide range of building operations. Success on this team requires strong collaboration, effective communication, the ability to prioritize, and adaptability in a fast-paced evolving setting. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work all shifts and available for overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
  • Ability to work at elevated heights, including the use of a ladder
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine building maintenance tasks to systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or carpentry
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) or maintenance plans in order to perform preventative maintenance
  • Conduct site-wide maintenance to our facilities, including painting, patching walls, replacing ceiling/flooring tiles, and carpet
  • Aid janitorial and hospitality staff with general requests for support, including moving furniture, racks/equipment, disposing of garbage using forklifted dumpster bins, and set-up and tear down of special event areas
  • Manage other site-wide operations and maintenance programs as assigned by facilities management
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts as needed
  • Open, track, and resolve work orders on a CMMS
  • Understanding and adherence to electrical and mechanical safety

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a professional trade that demonstrates a basic understanding of tools and their uses; ability to apply those fundamentals
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and apply new skills
  • Self-motivated, works well with others and autonomously

Hourly Range:

$20.67 - 30.10/hr USD
