FULFILLMENT BUYER, DATACENTERS (STARLINK)

This Fulfillment Buyer within the Indirect Procurement team will support purchases for several Starlink locations. The Indirect Procurement team has aggressive objectives that positively impact our product and bottom line. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Issue purchase orders quickly and without error
- Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers
- Obtain the original promise date from suppliers
- Review open order reports and manage deliveries
- Resolve invoice issues and ensure that vendors are paid on time
- Expedite parts as necessary
- Act as customer service for SpaceX internal customers
- Support buyers in cost savings initiatives
- Lead miscellaneous procurement projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years of experience working in a supply chain or operations
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Purchasing experience, specifically related to Indirect buying
- Remarkable problem-solving skills with a bias for speed
- Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs
