From the original posting

Podium Automation is reimagining industrial control panel manufacturing through software-enabled design and automated fabrication. We're building technology to create a new industrial supply chain - reducing lead times for critical electrical equipment from months to days. We've raised over $23M from top-tier investors including Construct Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Transition Ventures, Sunflower Capital, Banter Capital, and SV Angel.

We're hiring an Inventory Coordinator to make sure production never waits on parts. Speed is our core product promise - we commit to less than 4 week lead times for control panels, and that only holds if every component is where it needs to be, counted accurately, and ready to build. You'll own the physical and system-of-record accuracy of our stockroom and receiving operation: checking in incoming material, keeping our ERP matched to what's actually on the shelf, running cycle counts, and staging parts so assembly can start on time.

This is a hands-on, floor-level role at our Brooklyn HQ. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with receiving, the stockroom, assembly, and our supply chain team — you're the person who makes sure that when a build is cleared to start, the parts are actually there.

What You'll Do

  • Receive, inspect, and check in incoming components and materials, flagging shortages, damage, and discrepancies against purchase orders

  • Keep Odoo inventory matched to physical reality — recording stock movements accurately and closing the gap between what the system says and what's on the shelf

  • Run regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies quickly

  • Kit and stage components for active builds so assembly can start on time — Okay-to-Build readiness at the material level

  • Maintain clear organization, labeling, and storage across the stockroom and warehouse

  • Track slow-moving, damaged, and obsolete stock, and surface risks before they stall a build

  • Partner with supply chain, assembly, and shipping to keep material flowing in and finished panels flowing out

  • Prepare outbound shipments and assist with loading and unloading goods from trucks when needed

  • Contribute inventory data and process feedback that improve accuracy and speed as we scale

Who You Are

There are 4 values that all Podium employees are expected to demonstrate (albeit imperfectly):

  • Win for the customer. We sit on the same side of the table as our customers - their wins are our wins. We're building the vendor we always wished we had.

  • Default to transparency. We believe in honesty, transparency, and kindness. It's about how you get things done and not just what gets done.

  • Speed is a feature. We move fast and take ownership. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.

  • Win and lose as a team. Individuals drive inputs, teams drive outputs. We celebrate success together but aren't afraid to fail and iterate. We own outcomes together and don't deflect blame.

Required for this role

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in inventory control, receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics

  • Comfortable working in inventory management / ERP software day to day, with strong data-entry accuracy and attention to detail

  • Organized and methodical, with sound problem-solving instincts and follow-through

  • Able to work on your feet 8 hours/day

  • Able to lift items up to 50 lbs

  • Proficient in Google Workspace

  • Available to work in-person in Brooklyn, NY Monday through Friday

Preferred for this role

  • Experience with Odoo or a comparable ERP / inventory system (NetSuite, Dynamics)

  • Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or UL 508A panel shop environment

  • Familiarity with electrical or electromechanical components — relays, terminal blocks, PLCs, enclosures, wire and cable, or similar

  • Forklift certified
