From the original posting

About the role:

Halter runs on a capable finance tech stack, and we want an experienced hand to help us get more out of it. This newly created role centres on NetSuite and the platforms integrated around it, including the EPM tool we’re currently selecting. You’ll keep our NetSuite environment running well and build the integrations and customisations that help finance move faster.

We’re after someone who’s spent real time building in NetSuite: writing SuiteScript, maintaining integrations, automating workflows, and getting value from saved searches, analytics and dashboards.

You’ll sit within Finance Systems, working closely with the Senior Manager and partnering with accounting and FP&A to solve real problems. Your work will span day-to-day platform health, custom builds and larger initiatives as we scale.

To build solutions that work, you’ll need to understand how finance actually gets done. If you want to own a critical piece of infrastructure end to end, keep it healthy and make it more useful for the team, this is your kind of role.

Who we're looking for:

  • 3+ years’ hands-on NetSuite development experience, including strong SuiteScript 2.x skills

  • Experience building and maintaining integrations using REST/SOAP web services and RESTlets

  • Solid SuiteFlow and SuiteAnalytics experience across workflows, saved searches, reporting and dashboards

  • A track record of owning work from building and testing through to deployment and ongoing support

  • Confidence monitoring and troubleshooting platform health, catching issues before they become problems

  • Strong communication skills and patience with people who don’t speak your technical language

Bonus things you could bring along:

  • Experience with, or curiosity about, NetSuite’s native AI and agentic capabilities

  • Exposure to EPM or planning tools, or a willingness to get up to speed quickly

  • Some background or genuine interest in accounting and finance

  • Exposure to system implementations, UAT or structured project work

  • SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) experience for source-controlled, scriptable deployments

What your day could look like:

  • Build and maintain NetSuite integrations, SuiteScript customisations, workflows, saved searches and dashboards

  • Monitor platform performance and health using APM, proactively resolving issues before they affect the business

  • Document builds and configuration decisions clearly so the system stays maintainable and knowledge is shared

  • Work with accounting, FP&A and Finance Systems to understand their needs and shape practical technical solutions

  • Track new capabilities across NetSuite and our EPM tool, including AI and agentic features, and recommend what’s worth adopting

  • Contribute to platform upgrades and finance systems work supporting new market entry

  • Work with the Senior Manager, Finance Systems, on priorities, bringing your judgement as the team’s NetSuite technical expert

Our Benefits:
