Partner Solutions Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a Partner Solutions Engineer to join our partnerships team. This role will drive enablement and integration motions across Vercel's partner ecosystem: solution and consulting partners, strategic technology partners, and cloud alliances such as AWS. Partner Solutions Engineers work with partner engineering, sales, and product teams to grow adoption of Vercel's products and build strong technical relationships.

Partner Solutions Engineers serve as technical collaborators and developer advocates for Vercel's strategic partners. You will work with Vercel's Partner Managers to design and deliver programs such as agentic workshops, discovery sessions, and technical enablement. You will also have the opportunity to work with Vercel's partners on building product integrations and accelerators, bringing them from 0 to 1 and using Vercel, Next.js, AI SDK, and Eve.

Partner Solutions Engineers require a strong web development background, especially in frontend development, cloud infrastructure, agentic development, and modern application development. Strong coordination skills across multiple partners and time zones are essential, as is building lasting relationships with practice leads, delivery teams, and executives.

What You Will Do:

• Serve as the main technical contact for Vercel's partners, building lasting relationships with their engineering teams and leadership across solution and consulting partners, technology partners, and cloud alliances.
• Build product integrations, proofs of concept, and reference applications that connect Vercel agentic infrastructure to apps and agents using Vercel’s open source solutions.
• Author the guides, documentation, and workshop content behind Vercel's partner enablement, including integration guides for partner products.
• Provide pre-sales support on partner-attached opportunities.
• Enable Vercel's sales organization on the Vercel + partner better-together story, and present technical content at partner events, hackathons, and conferences.
• Gather and deliver high-signal feedback from partner use cases and integrations to Vercel product teams.

About You:

• You are passionate about building first-class web and agent experiences.
• You have a strong understanding of fullstack web architecture, agentic development tools, and building AI applications.
• You have 4+ years of experience as a solutions engineer, solutions architect, or tech lead advising or consulting engineering teams.
• You have 6+ years of experience building and launching frontend applications using Next.js or React, and you still write code regularly.
• You have shipped applications with composable technologies and services common in partner-delivered projects, such as CMS, ecommerce, A/B testing, and personalization.
• You have build and shipped agentic applications with the Vercel AI SDK or other toolkits for AI-powered applications.
• You can speak credibly to LLM frameworks, agent architectures, and AI application patterns.
• You have worked with or within systems integrators, consulting firms, or technology partners, and understand how they staff, deliver, and grow a technology practice or product partnership.
• You are experienced in developer relations, from training sessions and sales demos to conference talks and technical content.
• You have a results-driven mindset and are experienced working in a fast-paced environment.
• You are comfortable working with remote, globally distributed cross-functional teams.
• You have excellent communication skills and experience advising both technical and non-technical stakeholders, from engineers to executives.
• You are able to travel 25% of the time.

Bonus if you:

• Have built integrations with Vercel's agentic infrastructure products.
• Have run certification, training, or enablement programs at scale.
• Have experience with cloud marketplace and alliance motions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Have worked at or with a Vercel partner.

The San Francisco, CA base salary range for this role is $176,000 - $225,000 plus annual bonus. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
