⭐ Our Risk & Control Discipline (RCD)
Like any other regulated bank, we need to make sure we are managing our risks and controls, and are fully compliant with our regulation. At Monzo we want to do so while continuing with our agile “test and learn” approach to launching products. You’ll have a supporting role to help our Control Discipline make sure we successfully roll out and embed our risk management framework across the 1st line.
ℹ️ About the roles
Payments are at the heart of Monzo - enabling millions of customers to send, spend and receive money every day.
Behind those customer experiences sits a complex ecosystem of payment products, technology and infrastructure, operations, payment schemes, external partners and regulatory obligations.
As a Payments Control Partner, you'll be embedded within the Payments Collective and act as a first-line risk and control partner across this environment.
You'll build a deep understanding of Payments - its products, services, technology, operations, partners, regulatory obligations and strategic roadmap - and use this to help the Collective identify and manage its most important risks.
The role spans product and change risk alongside the broader risk and control environment across Payments. You'll help Payments meet its regulatory and scheme obligations, respond effectively to incidents and emerging risks, and maintain strong governance, resilience and assurance.
The aim is to make risk management useful, proportionate and embedded in how Payments operates and makes decisions.
