Job Title: Plug Concierge
Team: Business Development
Employment Type: Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Reports To: VP, Sales & Business Development
You'll own a piece of the biggest infrastructure opportunity in automotive.
As a Plug Concierge, you are the voice that turns a valuation into a closed deal.
Once a Plug Buyer extends a cash offer on a customer's EV, you own the outbound follow-up:
calling sellers to walk them through their offer, answer questions, overcome objections, andmove them forward in the sale process. You work hand-in-hand with the Buyer team, picking up the moment an offer goes out and staying with the customer until they accept, decline, or need to be re-engaged.
The qualifying candidate is persistent, coachable, and energized by the phone. You're comfortable with high call volume, quick to build rapport, and motivated by clear, measurable targets. Interest in automotive or EVs is a plus, but the core skill is converting a warm lead into a committed seller through a great conversation.
Call customers who have received a Plug cash offer to confirm receipt, answer
questions, and guide them toward accepting.
Own timely, high-volume outbound follow-up on every offer extended by the Buyer
team, following a structured cadence.
Handle objections around price, timing, and process, and know when to loop in a
Buyer for re-negotiation.
Track every call, outcome, and next step accurately in the CRM so nothing falls
through the cracks.
Partner closely with Buyers to relay customer feedback that affects offer
competitiveness and conversion.
Hit daily and weekly call volume, contact rate, and offer-acceptance targets.
Provide an excellent customer experience that reflects Plug's brand at every
touchpoint.
1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in outbound sales, BDR/SDR, call center, or phone-based customer conversion.
Proven ability to make high call volumes daily while maintaining quality and a positive attitude.
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly over the phone.
Comfort with objection handling and a persistence to follow up without being pushy.
Proficiency with basic business software tools (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM platforms, dialers) and comfort working with data.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline of offers.
Ability to collaborate closely with the Buyer team and other business units.
Direct experience in automotive sales, F&I, or auto auctions is a plus.
Hourly wage: $25.96 to $31.25 + OTE ($78,000 - $89,000 annualized)
Wage ranges reflect independent, third-party benchmarking against national compensation data. Where an individual's actual offer falls within that range depends on a combination of factors, including relevant experience, specialized skills, training and qualifications, current business needs, and prevailing market conditions. Ranges are reviewed periodically and may be adjusted to reflect changing market conditions.
Benefits & Perks:
