What you will be doing

• AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft를 비롯한 CSP(클라우드사업자) 및 한국 시장 내 고객사의 데이터베이스 선택에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 AI 파트너(i.e., Megazone, LG CNS, Bespin 등) 전략을 수립하고 실행
• 성장 기회를 창출하고 상호 이익을 만드는 효과적인 파트너 관계 발굴 및 육성
• CSP(클라우드사업자), AI 파운데이션 모델 공급자 및 ISV 파트너를 통한 영업 파이프라인 발굴, 잠재 고객 식별·검증 및 개발
• 엔터프라이즈 세일즈 팀과 협력해 월·분기·연간 매출 목표 달성 및 초과 달성
• 전략적 SI 파트너와의 협력 주도, 영업·프리세일즈·서비스 전달 역량을 강화하고 인증을 확보하도록 지원
• 마케팅, 파트너 프로그램, 파트너 인에이블먼트, 커스터머 석세스, 솔루션 컨설팅 등 다양한 팀과 협업하여 파이프라인 생성 및 거래 진행 촉진
• Sales Bootcamp, 심화 세일즈 교육, 리더십·역량 개발 프로그램 등 다양한 교육 참여

About the role

We’re looking for a driven, results-oriented professional with the passion and initiative to grow our business through strategic partner relationships. The Principal Partner Specialist focuses on executing high-impact partner strategies across Korea, developing and nurturing partnerships that open new revenue opportunities. You’ll work closely with leading partners and our sales teams to accelerate deals, expand partner capabilities, and strengthen MongoDB’s presence in this dynamic market.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Seoul for our hybrid working model.

What you will be doing

• Develop and execute strategic the partner strategy across the Cloud Service Providers(CSPs) and their ecosystem in Korea market, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft, the affiliated cloud partners and AI partners who can influence the database selection on customer side(i.e. Megazone, LG CNS, Bespin, etc.).
• Recruit and develop effective partner relationships, resulting in growth opportunities and mutual beneficial partnerships
• Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline through CSPs, AI foundation model companies and their partners.
• Work with our Enterprise Sales team to close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives
• Lead engagement of target partners to develop their sales, pre-sales and delivery capabilities in line with our strategy of amplifying partners with capabilities and certifications to deliver for their customers
• Work with cross functional teams including Marketing, Partner Programs, Partner Enablement, Customer Success, Solutions Consulting teams to drive pipeline generations and deal progression
• Participate in our sales enablement trainings, including our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp, sophisticated sales training, and leadership and development programs

What you bring to the table

• 10+ years of quota-carrying experience generating pipeline and selling through Cloud Partners(CSPs) and/or emerging AI native partners who can influence the database selection in a heavy sales matrix model
• Fluent in Korean and English
• Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
• A track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets.
• Skills in building business champions and running a complex sales process
• Drive and a competitive nature: Possess a strong desire to be successful
• Skills in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities
• Aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility, High EQ and self-aware

• Sales driven mindset with proven success of 3+ years of direct-sales experience. Be good at delivering results with what you have. Bias for action.
• Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales) is a plus
• Strong local network in the ecosystem of CSP and AI. Familiarity with the databases, AI community, developers and open source technology is a plus. Curiosity and market sensitivity about the emerging technological trend, capable of converting it into business opportunities
