Team mission
Travelers come to GetYourGuide with options in front of them, and they book when they’re confident they’ve found the right one. As a member of the Traveler Analytics leadership team, you’ll lead Comparison Analytics. You’ll define how we measure and improve the moment travelers choose between experiences: the activity page, the content and reviews behind it, how options and prices are presented, and what makes one experience stand out from another.
This means answering hard product questions. What makes a traveler confident enough to book? Which content changes decisions, and how do we measure that when conversion alone misses part of the value? How do price and value presentation shape choice? You’ll partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Content leaders to shape these decisions, while building the analytics foundation and the team that delivers the answers. We need someone who has built and led high-performing analytics teams, built the measurement a product area runs its decisions on, and shaped company strategy with data.
Your toolkit
- Proven leadership: You’ve hired, developed, and grown teams of analysts in fast-growth environments. You’ve coached analysts into senior ICs and leads, and you’re great at it.
- Strategic partnership: You’ve shaped company strategy and roadmaps, influenced resource allocation, and built measurement frameworks that change how businesses make decisions instead of only reporting on them.
- Hands-on technical fluency: You’re a hands-on leader who is proficient with SQL, experimentation design, causal inference, and metric definition. You can review a complex analysis, spot the flaw, and get into the data when needed. You don’t need to write every query, but you can, and you’ll use those skills to level up the team.
- Influence executives: You turn complex analyses into crisp recommendations. You know when to push back on ideas and when to say “we don’t know yet, but here’s how we’ll find out.
Extras that give you an edge
- Two-sided marketplace or e-commerce experience (preferred but not required)
How we’ll make your career journey extraordinary
- Annual personal growth budget and mentorship programs for continuous learning and development
- Work from anywhere in the world for 30 days per year
- A hybrid working approach with three days of in office collaboration (Mon, Tue, Thur) and two days of optional at home focus time.
- Opportunities to collaborate and socialize with a quarterly team event budget
- Access to leading AI tools plus the resources and budget to get the most out of them
- Monthly transportation and fitness budget
- Discounts for you, your friends, and family on GetYourGuide activities
- Language reimbursement program
- Health and wellness benefits
