Overview

Smartling is an AI-native translation platform that's redefining how the world's biggest brands go global — ranked #3 on Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies list. We're growing rapidly at scale and are backed by a leading technology-focused investment firm. While most companies are still figuring out how to use AI, we've spent years building it into the core of our platform — and we're just getting started.

Our growing Marketing team is seeking a Product Marketing Manager who is, at heart, a storyteller. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you'll shape the narrative behind everything we bring to market, with product launches as your specialty and the rest of product marketing as your training ground. You'll turn new products and features into stories that customers actually care about: what changed, why it matters, and what it means for them. Beyond launches, you'll bring that same storytelling instinct to campaigns, customer stories, and whatever else the business needs, giving you room to build a broad product marketing skill set while owning one area deeply. You'll talk to customers and dig into research constantly, because the best stories start with listening.

You Will

  • Craft the story behind every product launch, turning new features into a narrative that customers and prospects genuinely connect with
  • Find the human angle in what we build, then bring it to life through demos, case studies, webinars, and other content that makes people care
  • Shape how we talk about ourselves across campaigns, web content, and customer stories, keeping our voice sharp and consistent everywhere it shows up
  • Partner with product, sales, and customer success so the story lands the same way no matter who's telling it
  • Talk to customers and prospects constantly, mining real conversations for the trends and tensions that make our messaging land

You Have

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience
  • 3-5 years of Product Marketing experience or equivalent marketing role(s)
  • Impeccable communication skills (oral, written, and listening) are a must
  • Past experience at a fast-paced, growing B2B enterprise software/technology company
  • A passion and aptitude for data analysis and critical thinking
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and dig deep to get things done
  • Interest in language, culture, and global content

You Are

  • Strategic thinker. Translates high-level strategies into practical implementation strategies
  • Self-starter. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work in a self-directed manner
  • Entrepreneurial and flexible, with a problem-solving approach
  • Detail Oriented. Supremely well organized with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical thinker. “If there is a problem I have a solution” attitude
  • Team Player. An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively work cross-functionally

You Will Enjoy

  • Freedom 🏡 - we are remote first
  • Growth - an opportunity to learn and advance your career
  • Wealth 💰 - we offer a competitive salary and 401(k) + company match
  • Wellness - medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family
  • Balance - flexible PTO + 11 holidays; generous parental leave
  • Culture 🤝- an energetic, value-driven, and fun culture and team spirit
  • Bonus - employee referral program and Apple equipment
