We're here to change it.
Who we are
Our founding team is no stranger to the complexities of the financial industry. As early employees at Blend, they spent years together focused on creating modern cloud infrastructure for banks. Now, with Vesta, they are transforming the mortgage industry by creating the most flexible, open and automated origination experience, benefiting financial institutions and their customers.
And, we're not alone.
We've raised $55M from top tier investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Bain Capital Ventures, Conversion Capital, Zigg Capital, and Index Ventures.
About the role
Vesta has found product-market fit, and the team is growing fast. As we grow, it gets harder to keep the people who build the product (product, engineering, design) connected to the people who work with customers every day (implementations, support, sales). You'll own that connection, in both directions, by designing the processes that make it work: customer-facing teams always know what's shipping, what's changing, and why, and the product development team hears what customers are running into, clearly and in a form they can act on. And you'll run those processes the way it should be done these days: with AI-powered workflows that keep information moving on its own, not by adding meetings.
What you'll own:
From product to customer-facing teams. Design and run the processes that keep customer-facing teams informed about what's shipping, what's changing, and why: launch readiness, release notes, roadmap updates, and the enablement implementations, support, and sales need before a change reaches customers, plus early access with customers and closing the loop on how each launch went.
From customer-facing teams to product. Design and run the intake process for customer issues, requests, and feedback from implementations, support, and sales: how they're captured, triaged, and routed so they reach the right PM clearly and with the context needed to act, and how the people who raised them hear back on what happened. You spot patterns across customers and make sure the product development team sees them.
AI-powered workflows. Build and maintain the agents and automations that keep information moving in both directions (triage, release notes, roadmaps, feedback synthesis) and turn them into reusable patterns the whole company relies on.
In your first few months, you might:
Build a launch-readiness process and run the next major release through it
Set up a clear path for customer issues and requests to reach the right PM, and for answers to flow back to the person who asked
Ship an AI workflow that turns what's shipping into release notes and briefings for implementations, support, and sales
Who you are
You're proactive and resourceful. You move without being told, figure out what needs doing, and find a way through ambiguity and blockers rather than waiting for someone to clear the path. This is the trait that most predicts success on our team.
You're a strong process designer. You've designed cross-team processes from scratch, owned them end to end, and they kept working after you stepped away. We'll ask to see examples.
You're a systems thinker who prefers fewer, better processes. You'd rather delete a process than add one.
You're hands-on with AI. You've built real workflows with LLMs and agents (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, or similar) that other people depend on. You don't need to be an engineer, but you're comfortable with prompts, scripts, APIs, and integrations, and you're not afraid of a terminal.
You know the tools product and customer-facing teams live in (Linear, Notion, Slack, Zendesk) and have opinions about how they should be set up.
You communicate, verbally and in writing, clearly and concisely: release notes, launch briefings, and summaries that people actually read.
You earn trust without authority. PMs, engineers, implementations, support, and sales see you as the person who makes their week easier, not as process police.
You have experience in product operations, program management, or a similar role at a B2B software company.
Bonus points if you've run launches for enterprise customers, where customers have to be prepared for change (configuration, training, rollout).
