About your skills:

  • Customer Advocacy: You keep our learners, partners, and administrators at the center of your work, identifying and anticipating their needs and pain points. You thoughtfully advocate for customer needs cross-functionally.

About this role

  • The Product Specialist team sits at the intersection of Support, Product, Engineering, and Customer-facing teams, translating user signals into structured improvements that enhance platform quality, reduce friction, and enable scalable growth. Product Specialists equip our user-facing teams to provide a seamless user experience on our platform as well as drive user-centric platform enhancements by strategically pinpointing key challenges and opportunities to the right internal stakeholders at the right time.
  • The Product Specialist team meets the challenge of internal stakeholders’ competing priorities by nimbly adjusting advocacy strategies to compliment current company priorities. As Product Specialists grow in the role, they take on higher-impact projects and partner closely with leaders in Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Support. The role and these projects ensure that our users remain at the center of product and process development across our company.

What you’ll be doing

  • Use Coursera platform expertise to advocate for and create great learner and administrator experiences by influencing roadmaps, driving issue resolution, and building creative technical solutions
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to define and execute workflows for new feature launch operational readiness, representing our team and our learners
  • Work closely with our Support teams to directly enable users by driving escalation resolution, triaging issues, and updating internal resources
  • Own projects that improve our operational processes and internal tools & resources to improve our effectiveness and efficiency
  • Present data-driven support insights to internal stakeholders to showcase trends and guide internal decision-making
  • Build strong working relationships with multiple internal cross-functional teams and collaborate to create learners-first solutions

What you’ll have

  • 3+ years of experience in customer success, technical support, or client services, working with technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects that benefit clients, customers, or end users
  • Experience with mastering a technical platform and providing technical consultative support
  • Written and verbal communication skills (English) to communicate technical information clearly, succinctly, and professionally

Coursera offers competitive pay and fair compensation practices across all regions. Job titles may span multiple career levels, and the targeted hiring annual base salary range for this role in Mexico City is MXN 440,000.00 - MXN 550,000.00. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education, transferable skills, business needs, and location. This range may be adjusted over time and may include eligibility for variable pay, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
